Free hydrogen lectures & event for Belgian researchers

Updated: May 4, 2022

THE REGISTRATIONS FOR THE LECTURES AND RESEARCH EVENT ARE NOW CLOSED!

The BE-HyFE project is organizing a first Hydrogen Week (9-13 May) for its 16 ESRs, but we want to include as much Belgian academics as possible, which is why we are opening up parts of the program to all of you:

We offer all Belgian academics, either working on hydrogen-related topics or with an interest in the topic, the following:

  • A week of hydrogen lectures that all Belgian academics can follow online. Our 9 lectures in total cover the hydrogen value chain and are given by top-notch Belgian professors from all universities. A very convenient way to get a complete overview of the hydrogen value chain and Belgian context.

    • Introduction to Hydrogen

    • Hydrogen production

    • Hydrogen fuel cells for energy & mobility

    • Hydrogen combustion for energy & mobility

    • Hydrogen safety & permitting

    • Material aspects related to hydrogen transport

    • Geopolitics of hydrogen

    • Hydrogen to other molecules

    • Policy framework for hydrogen

  • One Hydrogen Research Event on the 12th of May at Antwerp Expo: this is a poster symposium where all Belgian researchers can show their latest, state-of-the-art research on hydrogen and green molecules, both for their peers and for the industry, so we can assemble an overview of the current academic Belgian hydrogen research. This research event is also coupled with a network event with keynotes from the industry. Bart Biebuyck, Executive Director of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, is already confirmed as one of the keynote speakers.

Both offers are free of charge but registration is required. Click below for more information and registration.
